  3. ...Sorry guys, not much better in the civilian world either. Every week I get my paycheck, my boss tells me to wait till the end of the week to cash it....things are that tough out here.

  4. I have seen this countless times in my 22 year career. How many times have YOU owed the Government money, and it was taken out the very next payday (ALL AT ONCE), but the Army takes 2 to 3 months to fix an error if they OWE YOU? My point exactly. You never see a finance person with pay problems.

  8. I am finance and yes finance folks do have pay problems. The pay system is broke and a pain to work with. I won't even start with DFAS. That is hit or miss depending on who you work with.

  9. Yeah we finance soldiers have just as many pay problems as anyone else, mainly because DFAS has taken all of our power to do anything to help soldiers. We arent even allowed to fix our own issues it takes an act of congress to fix anything thats messed up with our pay. (oh and our MOS is 36B not 44C anymore)

  10. It would really help the Soldiers out it you didn't have asshole finance guys saying things like, "well when you have to listen to people's sob stories all day, how much work can you really get done?" That's an attitude you encounter all too often.
