I think this would of been more realistic if they said you can't use their copy machine because you were supposed to bring copies with you.And then they tell you that they cannot help you unless you have an NCO with you.And after that, they tell you they can't do a 4187 unless it is routed with the proper documentation through your Company's S-1 shop first
um, yes. it does happen, but usually only to whiny officers who think they can come scream at a spc because they wanted to turn their shit in a week after it was due and now *I* have to shoot rainbows out of my ass to make it happen.
Replace the SPC with SFC and you have someone in my old unit EXACTLY like this.
I have seen this happen. Though it wasn't my time in the Army, but my time here in the Coast Guard.
